… a great option for a patient with a horizontal/oblique root fracture near the cervical third of the 🦷. 🧜♀️
In this case, I extracted and repositioned the teeth (stabilized w a functional splint) so that the patient could have new “teeth” with built up composite restorations. The crown:root ratio is reduced but still favorable and this treatment alternative (🧠outside the 🎁) will allow their BONE (!!!!! all about thebone too) to grow with the patient to pave the path for other predictable treatment options later in life🙏
Premature extraction/s would leave enormous bony🦴defects making implants later quite difficult without extra osseous surgeries).
